Allstate names Zulfi Jeevanjee to newly created CIO position

Allstate is a $50 billion property and casualty insurance company. The creation of the CIO post and the hiring of Jeevanjee are key to the company’s plans to build its technology strength and accelerate its digital transformation and deployment of new technology systems. Most recently, Jeevanjee was the CTO of CVS Health. This will be Jeevanjee’s second stint at Allstate — he was SVP of Enterprise Architecture and Innovation from 2018 until early 2021. Prior to his first role at Allstate, he was the CTO at Wells Fargo, and chief architect at both Wachovia Securities and A. G. Edwards.
The NFL hires Gary Brantley as new CIO

The National Football League is the most popular pro sports league in the US and its championship, the Super Bowl, is the most watched sports event of the year. Brantley most recently served as CIO of Beazer Homes, one of the largest home builders in the US. Previously, he held the CIO post at the City of Atlanta as well as the DeKalb County School system. Brantley earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Youngstown State University and a Master’s degree in Management from University of Phoenix.
Grady Ligon joins RE/MAX as CIO
RE/MAX Holdings is one of the largest real estate brokerage franchisors in the world, under the RE/MAX brand, and mortgage brokerages in the US, under the Motto Mortgage brand. The company has 140,000 agents in almost 9,000 offices globally. Most recently, Ligon served as CIO of Fathom Realty and IntelliAgent. Earlier he was the CIO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, as well as Prudential Real Estate. Ligon earned a BBA degree in Information Systems & Statistics from Baylor University.
XPO promotes Jay Silberkleit to CIO

XPO Logistics is a leading provider of freight transportation services, primarily less-than-truckload (LTL) and truck brokerage. The Greenwich, Conn.-based company’s global network serves 50,000 shippers with approximately 749 locations and 43,000 employees. Silberkleit will succeed Mario Harik who, as previously announced, will become CEO of XPO’s brokered transportation platform, which is being spun off. Silberkleit first joined XPO as VP, Enterprise Architecture in 2012, shortly after the company was founded. In 2021, he was named SVP, Technology. Prior to XPO, Silberkleit served as principal software engineer with Waste Management.
Chevron Phillips Chemical expands remit of CIO Allison Martinez
Chevron Phillips Chemical is one of the world’s top producers of olefins and polyolefins and a leading supplier of aromatics. The company has 5,000 employees. Martinez has been promoted from CIO to SVP, Business Transformation and CIO, reporting to CEO Bruce Chinn. In addition to continued oversight of the IT department, Martinez will lead efforts to innovate business operations through continuous improvement initiatives, culture evolution, and championing a digital future. She will also become a member of the company’s executive leadership team. Martinez has more than 20 years of service with Chevron Phillips Chemical.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Physics and Computation Studies from University of Bath. Mike Manowski was promoted to SVP & CTO. Manowski joined the company in 2017 as VP of Application Development, and he will report to Titcombe. Manowski earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Management of Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Most recently, Pitt was the VP of IT & CIO at The University of Delaware. She has also served in campus leadership roles at Binghamton University, George Mason University, and North Carolina State University. Pitt earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech. She also holds a graduate certificate in higher education administration from George Mason University.
